Colleen Hewgill is a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She has over 28 years of experience, 25 of those years in the Grey Bruce area, assessing and treating patients in their homes and community. She enjoys the challenge of practical problem-solving, helping her patients achieve their personal goals.
Colleen provides physical therapy for patients recovering from a variety of conditions, including surgery, falls, fractures, and neurological conditions. She is an ADP mobility device authorizer with the Assistive Devices Program of the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. She has taught seminars on fall risk reduction, back care, and managing Parkinson's Disease. She also provides education to staff at retirement homes and PSW agencies on how to lift and transfer safely, preventing back injuries.
In her spare time, Colleen enjoys going on road trips with her husband and spending time in her gardens. She has four beautiful daughters and two amazing sons-in-law. Faith, family, friends and physio are the foundational elements of her life.
